Boiler Service and Emergency Boiler Repair in Ringwood
A boiler that gets looked at once a year is a boiler that lasts longer and breaks down less. A yearly boiler service catches small faults before they leave you cold. I check the parts, test the pressure, and make sure it's burning safely. The best time to book is throughout spring and summer, before the first cold snap, when everyone else remembers at once and the diary fills up.
When a boiler stops, you want boiler repair that's quick and honest. Most boiler breakdown repair jobs come down to a few common faults — a failed pump, a stuck valve, low pressure, or a worn part. Central Heating Services
Your central heating is more than the boiler. It's the pipes, the radiators, the pump, and the controls that tie it all together. I handle heating system installation for new builds and full replacements, plus maintenance and repair when something isn't working right.
Cold spots at the top of a radiator usually mean trapped air. A radiator that's cold at the bottom often needs a flush. If your heating's packed in completely, I'll find the fault and fix it. I also fit and repair thermostats, including modern smart ones, so you can set your heating to suit your day and cut your bills. Thermostat installation and repair is a small job that makes a real difference.
Most homes around here have wet central heating with radiators, not ducted air, so duct cleaning and other HVAC jobs rarely come up. If you do have a ducted system, ask and I'll point you the right way.
Gas Engineer Services
Gas work is not a job for anyone without the right ticket. As a Gas Safe registered engineer, I can carry out any gas job safely. That covers the gas safety inspection(GSI), gas appliance installation and repair, and gas leak detection.
If you can smell gas, don't wait. Turn off the supply at the meter, open the windows, keep flames away, and call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999. Then get in touch with me to find and fix the leak.

Landlord Gas Safety Certificate (CP12)
If you rent out a property, the law says you need a gas safety check every year. This is the landlord gas safety certificate, which most people call a CP12. I check every gas appliance and flue in the property, then give you the certificate you need to stay on the right side of the law.
I work with local landlords and letting agents across Ringwood and the towns around it. Book your CP12 in good time and I'll keep a note of when the next one is due, so you never let it lapse.
Plumbing Services
Not every job involves gas. I handle general plumbing too. A leak under the sink, a dripping tap, a running toilet — these seem small but they waste water and can cause real damage if left.
I take care of leak detection and leak repair, tracking down where the water is really coming from before it soaks into your floors and walls. I do pipe repair, tap installation and repair, and toilet installation and repair. I also fit and fix showers, from a weak trickle to a full shower installation and repair. Water heater installation and repair is covered as well, so you're never left without hot water for long.
In winter, keep an eye out for frozen pipes. A frozen condensate pipe is one of the most common reasons a boiler shuts down in a cold snap. If your boiler stops on a frosty morning and makes a gurgling sound, this is often the cause — and it's usually an easy fix.
Bathroom Installation and Renovation
A new bathroom lifts the whole house. I fit bathrooms from start to finish, so you only deal with one person from the first idea to the last tile.
That covers bathtub installation, repair, replacement and refinishing, plus shower refinishing to bring an old shower back to life. The things people ask me most
What do I do if my boiler stops working?
First, check the basics. Is there power to the boiler? Is the pressure gauge in the green, usually between 1 and 1.5 bar? Has the thermostat been knocked? A quick reset fixes some faults. If it still won't fire up, don't keep hitting reset — call me and I'll take a look.
How often should a boiler be serviced?
Once a year. A yearly service keeps it running well, keeps the warranty valid on newer boilers, and catches faults early. Autumn is the best time, before the heating goes on for winter.
Do I need a CP12 as a landlord?
Yes. If you let a property with gas appliances, you must have a gas safety check every year and give your tenants a copy of the certificate. It's the law. I can sort your CP12 and remind you when it's due again.
How quickly can someone come out?
